Three Pines Farm is, first and foremost, as it has always been, a farm. Tobacco was farmed on the property for many years, though the tobacco base (a unit limiting the amount of tobacco a property can produce) was sold off in the 1990s. Nowadays, attention has been turned to a more environmentally friendly pursuit: tree farming.
